YEF HQ Hosts First Successful Africa Praise Event

YEF HQ hosted a lively praise and prayer event for YEF HQ staff, Africa members and bible students through Zoom, Facebook and in the Bethany Church chapel. In total, 23 people were able to join and participate in this joyful time of praise. The Holy Spirit was truly present throughout the special event as those from different countries in Africa, in the US and even Europe joined.

Beginning with prayer by YEF Rwandan leader, Pierre, African Representative, Anu, Minister Danielle,  and HQ staff, Daija, praised God with five joyful songs sung in English, French, and a variety of African languages. After praise, Elim leader, Pastor Bethany preached a rousing sermon on what it means to rejoice in the Lord always. Then the event was concluded with the powerful prayers of all attendants for all of Africa, for the fire of revival within the hearts of the leaders and members and continue on into all those they evangelize. They especially prayed for YEF to be established in Nigeria and South Africa.

This event marks the first of many online praise and prayer events. Those in attendance testified the power of the Holy Spirit being felt despite the distance. One member even proclaimed, “During the performance, I so wished I could fly over there at that moment and praise with you all in person.” The event served as a refreshing cool water for all who experienced it. The hearts of the YEF staff are overflowing with gratefulness towards the Lord for the amazing event and plans to host more in the future.
